| Service Writer - Full-time This position is for New River Valley Harley-Davidson - Christiansburg. We are looking for a Service Writer whose professionalism is a reflection of the excellence of Roanoke Valley Harley-Davidson. This position requires excellent customer service and customer relations skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking in customers' motorcycles for maintenance and repair service, interviewing customers to determine their service needs, accurately describing work to be done, assigning & distributing the work to the technicians and consistent monitoring & follow-up of work orders. You will also assist in the processing of warranty and other paperwork associated with the service department. Position requires a solid motorcycle or automotive technical background, a good driving record, a valid Virginia motorcycle endorsement, excellent organizational skills and be computer literate. We prefer someone with automotive or motorcycle customer service experience and background but will consider other applicants. This position must work Saturdays.
